30 Years of Slovak Domestic Policy

In partnership with the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Washington, D.C., and the Slovak American Society of Washington, D.C. (SASW), Friends of Slovakia hosted the second event in Slovakia@30 Series, a conversation on “30 Years of Slovak Domestic Politics” with Dr. Kevin Deegan-Krause, Professor of Political Science, Wayne State University.

Kevin Deegan-Krause is the foremost U.S. expert on Slovak domestic politics and has spent more than two decades studying how political parties compete against one another and how that competition shapes what happens in a democracy. His ongoing research focuses on the emergence of new Slovak political parties and the transformation of existing ones.
