The German Marshall Fund of the United States and the Transatlantic Democracy Working Group hosted a virtual discussion with Eduard Heger, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic to discuss Slovakia’s democracy agenda and how his government intends to further its commitments to restore trust in democratic institutions and build deeper transatlantic cooperation and coordination to address regional and global health, climate, and economic issues. What role will Slovakia play in Central Europe and as a member of NATO and the EU to address security challenges that threaten the alliance and its partners?
The event was moderated by Dr. Martina Hrvolova, FOS Board member and GMF Non-resident Fellow.
