On the occasion of the 1150th anniversary of the arrival of Sts. Cyril and Methodius to the Slavs of Great Moravia the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in cooperation with Friends of Slovakia organizes an exhibit on their lives and works and a photo lecture by Pavol Demeš. The opening of the exhibit will take place at the Slovak Embassy on Thursday, September 26th, 2013 at 6.30 p.m.
Pavol Demeš, a skilled photographer as well as a foreign policy expert, has traveled over the past three years to many places connected with the lives of these historic figures. In his lecture, he will share with the audience images from these places and discuss the relevance of Sts. Cyril and Methodius for Slovakia and Europe.
