Since its inception in 2000, the Annual Freedom Lecture has become a prestigious forum dedicated to exploring the journey of the Czech and Slovak republics toward freedom, security, the rule of law, and a market economy. Organized by Friends of Slovakia, American Friends of the Czech Republic, and the Embassies of the Slovak and Czech Republics, this event has proudly hosted renowned speakers who offer deep insights into the evolving landscape of freedom and democracy.
This year’s lecture, co-organized by The Hudson Institute, will focus on the future of energy, change, innovation, and democracy, featuring a distinguished panel:

- Colonel Otakar Foltyn – Deputy Chief of the Military Office of the President of the Czech Republic
