Cost: $15 per person (high-school age and older) if you prepay on or before May 14 by Venmo @Katarina-Skladony, last 4 phone number digits 7051. $18 after May 14 or at the door by cash, check, or Venmo. Sorry, we cannot accept credit card payments. Children younger than high-school age are free.
Come and join the larger community of Friends of Slovakia in this informal and fun gathering!
We will provide an assortment of sausages and chicken grilled over charcoal, a keg of draft beer, and all necessary picnic supplies (plates, cups, cutlery, napkins).
You are invited to bring your favorite picnic side dishes (and/or desserts) to share with friends, plus soft drinks (plastic bottles only – no glass bottles or metal cans). After you register, you will receive a link to sign up for your contribution.
Bringing Folding Lawn Chairs: The facility has a large number of picnic tables, but you may also want to bring folding lawn chairs for added convenience.
Volunteers Welcome: This picnic is an all-volunteer effort. The host committee is happy to hear from anyone who is able to help with setup, food preparation and serving, and cleanup.
